School Years Picture Frame K-12 with Middle Name
School Years Picture Frame K-12 with Middle Name
If you only want the first name, shop this listing: https://craftedbydottie.etsy.com/listing/1540503115/school-years-picture-frame-k-12-school
***NOTE ABOUT FRAME COLOR: If you choose espresso, the name will have to be in acrylic because the engraving will not show well. Also, please understand that I can engrave the darker frames, but it won't show very well. The lighter the frame color the better the engrave shows.
**In the personalization let me know if you want the middle name engraved or in acrylic and what color acrylic for the middle name if different than the first name.

What a perfect way to use all those school photos you get! This would also make an amazing keepsake to give your child once they graduate. The school picture frame holds pictures from pre-k to graduation.
Frame is made from baltic birch wood plywood and acrylic. You can choose the color of the name from the acrylic options in the last photo. If I don't not have a color listed that you want, please message me for a custom order! This is just what I have on hand at the moment.
Frame is 18 inches wide and 10.47 inches tall. Photo sizes for the frame are 3.5" x 5" and 2" x 3" for the wallet size. Graining on wood will vary.

***********Frames come with backing and they will have hooks to hang, they are just not pictured.****************
*****NOTE: Due to the nature of acrylic manufacturing, acrylic will not be perfect and may have minor imperfections that do not affect the quality and are not visible once the frame is assembled. Wood grain will vary as well.
******NOTE: If you choose white as the frame color, white isn't very forgiving of cuts over knots, indentations on the wood, etc. It shows every minor imperfection. I do my best to sand down the wood multiple times, paint three coats of white, and tape the boards before lasering. BUT it is still fire cutting wood and wood is still not perfect no matter how many times I sand it down. I will do my best to get a smooth frame, but just know I can only do so much. Also it may have scorch marks from the laser. I do my best to clean it up, but there is only so much I can do to prevent this from happening. I also try to touch the paint up where I can, but it only does so much to cover it up.
FAQ:
Why do these take so long to make?
- I am a one woman shop and I run my business out of a tiny office in our home in Oklahoma. I do all the painting, gluing and cutting by myself. These can be labor intensive and I don't like to rush because I want to make sure each frame is crafted with detail and love. And I have a bottom of the line laser machine. I have to work with what I have and it does cut slower. I can only cut one board at a time and these each take 2 boards and 1 sheet of acrylic. Painting also takes a while especially white. And white just happens to be the most popular color. I have to let it set, then sand it, then tape it so the laser doesn't burn certain colors too badly. I also have to let the paint/stain cure for 24-48 hours so it sets just right.
Why is shipping so high?
- I am a tiny business. I don't have the revenue coming in to cover shipping on the bigger items. I wish I did. I try to keep my frame prices lower and a lot of times even with shipping I am still the lowest priced. I dream of growing bigger, having a team and being able to offer occasional free shipping, but for now, I just don't have the revenue coming in to accommodate that.
Why does the wood on my frames look different?
- Every piece of wood is unique and has different graining. I cannot control that. So if you order two frames and the wood looks different, that is because the graining is vastly different. The wood could have knots, indentations, etc. I do sand the boards before cutting, painted frames get sanded before and after painting, but the sanding can only remove so much.
Can I request a different color other than what you have listed for the name?
- Yes you can, BUT it will be painted wood and not acrylic. Again, I am a tiny shop and cannot afford to carry every acrylic color. I am slowly adding colors and hope to have a wider offering available as time goes on.
Do these come with hangars?
-Yes, they do. I put two eye holes on each side. The top of the frame is thin so I cannot unfortunately put a hangar in the middle. Also the frame is a little heavy, one hook in the middle wouldn't hold it correctly.
